18.00 _ Getting Pampered Through Dance for Mums, Dads, Grannies, Grandpas, Aunts and Uncles
For EVERYONE who wants to surrender to dance and imagination. In a relaxed atmosphere, we will awaken the body, develop physical awareness, open new creative pathways, connect, and simply enjoy ourselves—each in their own unique way. Along the way, you might even pick up a fresh pedagogical trick to use at home. Or you can just enjoy moving your body as if no one is watching (because truly, no one will be). In this 90‑minute workshop, you’ll rediscover great music, reconnect with your body and, most importantly, take time for yourself and GET PAMPERED! Above all, you will move and dance exactly as you wish. 😊
The workshop is led by Mojca Kasjak, MA in Arts Therapy, dancer, dance pedagogue, choreographer, programme and artistic director of the international Platform of Contemporary Dance festival, and recipient of numerous awards in the field of contemporary dance.
No prior dance experience is required. However, comfortable clothing is recommended.
Registrations are open until Wednesday, 17 June. info@qulenium.org

20.00 _ Proses on neither here nor there
(dance performance)
In Proses on Neither Here Nor There, choreographer Mufutau Yusuf is exploring the fragility of human life and the quiet resilience embedded in its impermanence. Through the eloquent language of the body, he creates a meditative space where audiences can engage with the notion of mortality through openness, reflection, and curiosity.
The work delves into the cyclical nature of existence, embracing themes of decay, transformation, and renewal. Rather than presenting death as a finality, Yusuf frames it as an essential element of life, a continuous process within the greater forces of nature. It invites viewers to witness the subtle interplay between vulnerability and strength, offering a quiet yet profound meditation on the human condition.

20.00 _ Movement 1 out of 9 (remix)
The world is divided into two parts: those who say that a music album should always be listened to as a whole, and those who believe that each piece is a matter of its own, and therefore neither the order nor the whole is of primary importance. Can the world also be divided into two parts from the perspective of dance choreography? Or is it possible to turn to unification instead of fragmentation? Movements 9 by Matej Kejžar faithfully follows the nine songs from the album Promises (Floating Points), but this time it tries to think of the whole from a diametrically opposite point of view, namely through a ninth of the album, through a ninth of the dance piece. If Movements 9 took the concept of a favorite album as its starting point and framework, what place does one song from the album occupy? What place (or rather, non-place) does a dancing body, aware of its individuality, not to say unity, but at the same time trying to be an integral part of the world, occupy?

18 _ A Manifestation of Artistic Expression
The 18th Kalejdoskop Festival.
Coming of age—and still playful!
Each turn of a kaleidoscope reveals a different image.
Fragments of bodies, sounds, glances.
From near and far.
From what’s just arising—and what’s already fading.
The Kalejdoskop festival is not a single story. It is a constellation of tiny worlds, caught in the same light for a brief moment.
A place where art is not being explained—it just happens.
Where a movement finds a voice, a sound finds a body, and people find one another.
Softly, yet persistently, we have been here for eighteen years because such encounters matter. Small, but open; fragile, but alive—the Kalejdoskop Festival remains, to this day, the only festival of its kind in the Gorenjska region.
It is a place of encounters—by locals and visitors.
Languages mingle. Bodies speak.
And for a moment, we become a community that breathes to the same rhythm.
It might make you feel perplexed.
But perhaps it stirs a feeling.
And that’s plenty.
Thank you for being here.
Welcome to The Kalejdoskop Festival.
